Tost: Good job by Alguersuari

25 July 2009

Scuderia Toro Rosso team boss Franz Tost was happy with his debut driver on Friday. Tost said Jaime Alguersuari, who will enjoy his Formula 1 debut this weekend at the age of just 19 years old, did well on his first day in a Grand Prix weekend and is getting well prepared for qualifying and Sunday's race.

Speaking about his youngster's first day in Formula 1 Franz Tost said: "Jaime did a very good job in his first day of practice in Formula One. He completed a total of 82 laps without making any mistakes. With every lap, he got more used to the car, to working with his engineers and to the general environment. Overall, it's been a good preparation for tomorrow's qualifying and for the race. A fantastic job so far."
