26 July 2009 / Results / PhotosMark Webber recorded a fourth consecutive podium finish in Hungary on Sunday to be the highest finishing championship contender at the Hungaroring. Having started third, Queanbeyan's Webber finished third although the pair of men in front of him were different to the duo at the start. "A little bit of a surprise," Mark admitted in the post-race press conference. "We expected to be a bit quicker after our running on Friday but we knew these guys would be around us. We knew we did not have the advantage of the last few races."
With team-mate Sebastian Vettel out of the running on this occasion and championship leader Button coming home in only seventh place, Webber closes in on the leader by four points. "I'm happy to get the result we did," the Red Bull driver continued. "I could have had a better chance to fight Kimi and use different tyres but that was my call - overall we still have lot of positives; we are still up here - we can take our car to a lot of venues and fight and we are still very much a force."
