With Bourdais' Toro Rosso career having been cut short after the German Grand Prix, the ousted driver - whose contract ran until the end of the season - stated that he would be taking legal action against the Faenza outfit.
Todt has hinted on Friday that such a move will not be taking place, however, to bring a close to the argument; the driver manager has told French sports newspaper L'Équipe that Bourdais 'will not institute proceedings'.
"A week after the German Grand Prix we came to an amicable agreement with the team," Todt is quoted as saying, before adding that the settlement was preferred over a court hearing.
