Roasting Rosberg happy with top five
23 August 2009 / Results / PhotosAn additional top five finish for Nico Rosberg did nothing but confirm the consistency of the Williams team in Valencia this weekend. The German rose from seventh on the grid to add four points to his 2009 tally, which sees only the Brawn and Red Bull drivers in front of the Williams in the Drivers' Championship.

Lewis Hamilton's second place in the European Grand Prix moves the World Champion to within one and a half points of Rosberg with previous Champion Kimi Räikkönen only a further three behind, although Nico was pleased with another strong points finish.
"I did enjoy the race but the heat really took most of the fun out of it," said Nico on a day when track temperatures hit 49°C (120°F). It wasn't nice but it was still a good result for the team; fifth again, after starting seventh, is not bad and gives us more points.
"I was hoping to beat Räikkönen today but he was too fast - our car seems to suit every track we go to and the team is doing well to keep development going from race to race. It's nice that we are always up there and I hope we continue like this and possibly make a step forward onto the podium soon."
