BMW Sauber Team Principal Mario Theissen still believes that the team will find a buyer to be able to continue racing in Formula One next season. The Hinwil squad continues to confer with a number of parties following the announcement in July that BMW will pull out of the sport at the end of the year.
Shortly before first practice at Monza on Friday, Dr. Theissen remained optimistic. "I cannot say anything new because we are working really hard," he told Autosport. "There are negotiations ongoing behind the scenes but I am cannot comment on things that are not finalised and we don't have a decision.
"I can only say that there is a chance for the team to continue - but we don't have a decision yet."
Furthermore the German revealed that he expects to announce more news regarding the matter later this month.
