Glock's off not my fault, says Buemi
12 September 2009 / Results / PhotosSébastien Buemi viewed himself as the innocent victim after Timo Glock pointed the finger at the Toro Rosso driver for being knocked out of the first round of qualifying at Monza. World Champion Lewis Hamilton's exit from the pit lane caused the Swiss driver more of a problem, however.
With stewards having since cleared pole man Hamilton for his rather suspect rejoining of the race track, Buemi was surprised to learn of Glock's opinion. "I did the best I could but the session did not go well for me," he commented. "I was held up by Hamilton, who did not know I was there.
"As for Glock saying I held him up, I don't think I did as I was just trying to rebuild a gap after being slowed by Hamilton. They say it might rain tomorrow, so now we need to work out the best strategy for whatever conditions we might encounter in the race."
