Nico Rosberg and Williams' terrible weekend at Monza predictably reached its conclusion with no points scored for Kazuki Nakajima or Nico Rosberg. However, the Japanese driver did manage to rise to a top ten result in the Italian Grand Prix as Rosberg's run of consecutive points finishes comes to an end.
Having scored points in the last eight Grands Prix, a miserable race to 16th place confirmed an out-of-position Rosberg to have finished last of the runners at Monza. "This was a bad weekend for the team," the German said after the race. "To begin with, we have lacked pace since the start of practice and we then had a number of issues in the race too.

"I had a good first lap and I made up four positions by overtaking on the left and the right. Then I was hit on the front-left by some debris and the car felt suddenly very different, with lots of understeer, so I assumed I had punctured my tyre and requested to pit."
Nico was surprised, however, to learn that the tyre remained fully inflated. "In fact, the aero balance had been massively compromised and destroyed the grip and this was just the beginning of a difficult afternoon," he added. "Today is one to put behind us, I think, and look ahead to next race where we should be fine."
