'Worst performance of the year' for Red Bull
14 September 2009 / Results / PhotosRed Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner was highly disappointed after a dismal Italian Grand Prix for the team on Sunday. After locking out the fifth row of the grid, Mark Webber's race ended in the gravel on Lap 1 before Sebastian Vettel just slipped into the points half a lap from the end.

With a maximum of 72 points up for grabs at the remaining four races of the season, Red Bull finds itself 40.5 behind Brawn GP in the Constructors' Championship following an impressive 1-2 for the Brackley squad at Monza.
"It was a disappointing start to the race, when Mark was tipped out by one of the BMWs and Sebastian lost quite a bit of time in the first stint behind Kubica, who then had a damaged front wing," Horner commented.
"Thereafter, we were lucky to pick up one point following Hamilton's accident. Unfortunately, we just weren't quick enough - it's been our worst performance of the year at a track which has exposed some of our weaknesses. Hopefully the remaining circuits will come back more in our favour."
