Former Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso hopes to end his Formula One career at Ferrari. The Spaniard will join the Italians next season and announced earlier this week that he signed a three-year deal.
"I really think that Ferrari will be my last team," Alonso told the gathered media at Suzuka. "Leaving Ferrari to change team will always be a step backwards. It has to be a step backwards because Ferrari is more than just a team in Formula 1. I want to finish my career with them.
"I think I share a lot of thing with Ferrari, like the passion for competition, to give 100% every race. I think Ferrari was the best move for my career in F1."
