Alonso recommends Kubica as replacement

If it was up to Fernando Alonso he would sign up Robert Kubica at the Renault F1 team. According to the Spaniard Kubica would be the best possible replacement Renault could sign at the moment as Alonso will join Ferrari next season.

The BMW Sauber F1 team was sold and the future of both Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica was not secured just yet at the Hinwil based team. When asked in interview session with the gathered media at Suzuka who Alonso would recommend as his replacement at Renault he was very clear with his answer: "I rate Robert Kubica very high. He is one of my best friends and of of the best drivers in the world. If Renault have any chance I would recommend him."
