Force India's Adrian Sutil had a "fantastic" qualifying session on Saturday and has secured fourth place on the grid for the Japanese Grand Prix.
"Our car has performed well on these type of circuits in the past and we've had a strong weekend so far but we did not expect to be able to race in the top five, so fourth is a really great position for the start tomorrow."
Sutil admitted that the red flags broke up the sessions and made focusing difficult for some drivers but was pleased to run current world champion Lewis Hamilton to within hundredths of third position. "Third was also very close, but unfortunately Lewis just took it right at the end of the session! We had a tough weekend in Singapore so it's nice to be back: it's fantastic for the team."
