Sutil: Kovalainen cut across me
04 October 2009 / Results / PhotosAdrian Sutil has pointed the finger at Heikki Kovalainen for the clash which saw both men lose positions in the Japanese Grand Prix. Whilst squabbling over sixth place, the Force India passed the McLaren at the Casio Triangle chicane before contact in the second part of the corner saw the German's car spin.

With championship leader Jenson Button waiting in the wings at the moment of the incident, the Englishman's typical 2009 luck befell him again by being able to seize two positions at the time.
"It was a really disappointing race," commented Sutil, who was involved in a collision for the second time in a week. "The start was okay and I kept my position but then I fell back to ninth and got caught behind Kovalainen.
"I got past him at the chicane but then he cut back across, I spun and lost a lot of time - that was really the end of the race for me; when that happens it's obviously very disappointing, as I thought we could have done really well today and scored some points."
