With Briton Ecclestone - head of Formula One Management (FOM), commercial rights holder for the sport - having previously tipped Rome as a new F1 destination by 2013, he appeared less passionate over the idea on Sunday.
"We'll go to Korea in 2010 and India the year after," he told Italy's La Stampa at Suzuka. "We're also attempting to organise a Grand Prix in New York; too many places want to host a race at the moment, so we'll see."
