Felipe Massa travelled from homeland Brazil to Ferrari headquarters in Maranello on Monday as the Paulista continues preparations for his Formula One return in 2010. The unfortunate 28-year-old, championship runner-up of last year, has been out of action since his freak accident in Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying.
Having made a full recovery from life-threatening injuries at the Hungaroring, Massa made the journey from Brazil to Italy to greet Team Principal Stefano Domenicali on his own return from Suzuka at the weekend. Massa's visit also including a showing of the new Ferrari 458 Italia.

"I'm finally back home!" a smiling Massa told the Ferrari website. "This is my second family and I couldn't wait to see them again - all the people I've been working with for many years and who have been close to me these days. Now I can really say that I start working again; there's lots to do, but I'm happy. I like the way in Maranello."
Felipe's schedule includes testing a GP2 car at Jerez this week plus a drive in the F2007 Ferrari in the near future. Massa will be partnered by a new team-mate on his full-time return as Fernando Alonso steps into the second Ferrari next season.
