There may still be a week to go until practice commences at Interlagos but World Champion Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to a very different Brazilian Grand Prix; for the first time in his Formula One career, the McLaren driver will not be fighting for a title at Interlagos.

The past four seasons have all seen the Drivers' World Championship decided in São Paulo, with 2006 and 2008 also including the settling of the Constructors' battle. However, Hamilton travels to Brazil next week with less important prospects in mind.
"I'm actually looking forward to taking in a bit more of the city and relaxing and enjoying the experience of driving on one of the world's greatest race tracks," said Lewis after two intense Brazilian battles in 2007 and 2008, shared in and out of his favour by a single point on both occasions.

"My highlights are Turn 1 - braking into the long left-hander which bends right and takes you out onto the back straight - Ferradura, which is a fast right-hander where your body is squeezed hard into the side of the car, and the main straight; you accelerate hard uphill and you can even hear the crowd and the Brazilian drums playing in the grandstands.
"One of the greatest things about racing at Interlagos is the crowd - there's such a great atmosphere, the fans, so much energy and life; it's a party while you're working and it's great to see everyone happy."
