Nick Heidfeld is looking forward to his first laps in Brazil next weekend following a resurfacing of the Interlagos track in 2007. The German explains that grip levels have varied greatly over the last two years and is now curious to assess next weekend's track conditions.
With only two races left to run for BMW, Heidfeld remains out of a drive for 2010 as his tenth Formula One season nears its end. "Interlagos is a fantastic and very challenging track," he said. "Because you drive it in an anti-clockwise direction, it puts a real strain on your neck muscles.

"The circuit used to be full of horrible bumps. Having it resurfaced before the 2007 Grand Prix made a huge difference but by 2008 the track wasn't as good; I'll be interested to see what kind of condition it is in now."
'Quick Nick' also added that he is looking forward to seeing local man Felipe Massa in the paddock as the Ferrari driver prepares to wave the chequered flag at this year's winner.
