Horner: We've had a great year

Christian Horner was delighted with his team's performance in São Paulo as Mark Webber racked up the Milton Keynes outfit's fifth race win of the season on Sunday. Although Sebastian Vettel has lost out in the Drivers' Championship and Brawn have clinched Constructors' honours, Englishman Horner puts the situation into perspective.

With Red Bull having been outshone by sister team Toro Rosso last year, the statistics read much better for the Austrian drinks manufacturer's leading team in 2009. "We've had a great year and, first of all, congratulations to Jenson (Button)," Team Principal Horner commented.

"We've given him a hard time as much as possible and I've known him since he was 11 so I am delighted for him that he did it. We had a target, which was winning the race, and we did it. Sebastian also had a great race, looking back at it, but it wasn't enough."

With one 2009 Grand Prix remaining in Abu Dhabi, Christian put his team's achievements under the spotlight. "We've had five wins and five poles - it's just been a brilliant year for Red Bull. We're going to get stronger - we'll be back next year and even stronger."
