Sutton Images, the official photographic partner of GPUpdate.net, is delighted to have seen its energetic photos of new World Champion Jenson Button published in a wide range of newspapers this week. The snaps in question were taken just moments after the Englishman began post-race celebrations in Brazil on Sunday.
With Button having become the tenth British World Champion, the Brawn driver's happiness was obvious to all after clinching the crown with one race remaining this season. The images are made all the more special when considering that Sutton was in charge of Button's public relations in 1998 and his Formula 3 season of 1999 before becoming a Williams F1 driver with the turn of the new millennium.

| The classic shot was a favourite with newspapers, as photographer Mark Sutton discovers |
"Jenson was visibly overwhelmed by his achievement upon his return to Parc Fermé, so much so that he kept his helmet on!" explained prize-winning photographer Mark Sutton. "Obviously, I wanted to show the emotion on Jenson's face and shouted for him to remove his helmet. Once he did this he immediately recognised me in the crowd of photographers and ran at me with a huge smile on his face and holding his forefingers up to me showing me that he was number one - the new Formula One World Champion!
"That moment was completely unscripted and I had only a split second in which to capture this outburst of emotion.
"Upon my return to the UK I was delighted to find that this shot, and another of mine, had been used on the front pages of many of the British newspapers. They say that every picture tells a story and my photograph told the world in no uncertain terms that Jenson knew who was number 1 in the world!"
