Button's story of 2009 due next month

26 October 2009

Jenson Button has recalled his own version of events from a memorable title-winning season, all explained in the book 'My Championship Year'. Set to be published in mid-November, the Englishman talks of the ups and downs of 2009 as well as revealing previously unknown details of the goings on during the year.

With Button and Brawn GP's success story of the 2009 campaign nothing short of a fairytale, the Englishman finally succeeded in his tenth season of Formula One to becoming the second consecutive British Champion for the first time in four decades.

With the hardback version of the book, published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson and priced at £20, hitting shelves on Thursday 19th November, the Frome man is planning to be on-hand for signings of the narrative which includes feelings over the demise of Honda last December, pre-race preparations, transcripts of pit-to-car radio conversations and personal text messages from over the course of the year.

The book's foreword comes courtesy of team owner and Principal Ross Brawn.
