Senna to Campos next season?

29 October 2009

Brazil's Bruno Senna has been linked with a drive at the new-for-2010 Campos team. The nephew of late three-time World Champion Ayrton came close to a deal with Brawn for 2009 but, having since spent a season in the Le Mans Series, the 2008 GP2 runner-up has now been associated with the Spanish team.

With Bild reporting that Timo Glock is close to finalising a contract with Renault for 2010, the German publication also suggests that Senna could make his F1 debut with Campos Grand Prix, which climbs the motorsport ladder from GP2.

Having tested for Honda last year, Senna is highly tipped to be seen in F1 next season, possibly alongside Pedro de la Rosa as the McLaren test and reserve driver has also been connected with the team headed by former driver and compatriot Adrián Campos.
