As well an announcing that the team will be making use of Cosworth engines once again in 2010, Sir Frank Williams has revealed that his team will be naming its driver line-up for next season no later than Monday. Germany's Nico Rosberg, who has been with the Grove outfit since 2006, has already confirmed that he will not remain with the English outfit next season.

With a switch from Toyota to Cosworth engines and Rosberg departing, all looks set to change at Grove for 2010 as - having been a favourite with Toyota - Japan's Kazuki Nakajima could also leave the team. Currently, test driver and GP2 Champion Nico Hülkenberg would seem favourite for one seat.
"We will announce our drivers for next season on Monday," Sir Frank told Gulf News. "There are a few things going on at Williams for next season with our engines, so we thought we can do better. Nico is German and Mercedes need at least one German driver to sit before their engine."
Frank's last comments hint that Rosberg, as predicted by many, will be making his way to either McLaren or Champions Brawn GP next year. "They (Mercedes) are 50 miles away from Williams, which is very convenient," the team founder continued. "Besides, we also like our independence; we will be not under the influence, not that Toyota ever bossed around, but we've just gone a private and independent route."
