Sébastien Buemi rounded off a fantastic weekend to claim the final point of the season in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. The Toro Rosso driver, who therefore moves ahead of Force India's Adrian Sutil to sixteenth in the championship, finishes his debut season with a total of six points.
With Buemi's eighth place rounding off a superb weekend on which he finished in the top ten in all sessions, the Swiss driver's result means he completes the first and last races of the season in the top eight.

"Getting another point today, after also scoring in Brazil, is a nice way to end the season," he said after the first Grand Prix at Yas Marina. "The entire team has done a great job over the past four races and so I am looking forward to next year.
"At first, I was having trouble matching Rosberg's pace but I picked up more and more speed as the race progressed. I lost a bit of time behind Nakajima but, overall, I think I did the best I could and it was a great race. My fight with Robert (Kubica) was quite fair, as I think I left him enough space." The BMW driver spun at Turn 9 as a result of a small touch but recovered to finish tenth.
