Scott Dixon has scored a record-breaking 20th victory in the IndyCar Series with a dominant performance at Mid-Ohio's Lexington track. The reigning champion finished ahead of fellow title contenders Ryan Briscoe and Dario Franchitti.
The 2009 IndyCar championship saw a triangular shootout go right down to the wire. Briscoe was the first man to win in the year although Franchitti stole the title from Champion Dixon in the last knockings. There were plenty of thrills and spills along the way in what has been a truly epic season.
