Helio Castroneves has taken his second Indy 500 pole ahead of this year's race on 24 May. The Brazilian set an aggragate time over the course of four laps to snatch the top spot and lines up alongside Pensky team-mate Ryan Briscoe. Scotland's Dario Franchitti is the leading British driver in third place.
Dario Franchitti celebrated his IndyCar comeback year with a well-deserved victory on the streets of Long Beach. The Scotsman finished ahead of pole-sitter Will Power and Tony Kanaan.
